Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Pallette Review

Hello everyone its Emma and today I am going to be reviewing the gorgeous Naked Basics 2 Palette. This was my first ever Urban Decay purchase and so far its my favourite ! This is the only palette I have, but I have various other Urban Decay items in my makeup collection. Such as eyeshadow primer and face products. This palette retails at around £23 online and instore.

The palette contains 6 neutral based eyeshadows. The palette itself is small, sleek and very attractive. The eyeshadows altogether make a neutral palette and you can create many different looks with the palette. My favourite eyeshadow is a light shimmery shade called 'skimp' as it has multi use and is such a lovely highlight on the inner corners
. My least used shade would have to be 'stark' because its skin toned and I only use it if I make I slight but coverable mistake.

The first shade in the palette is called ' skimp '. The second shade is called ' Stark '. The third shade is called ' Frisk '. The fourth shade is called ' Cover '. The fifth shade is called ' Primal '. The sixth and final shade is the palette is called ' Undone'. In the picture you can clearly see the shades and how they form the neutral shade palette structure. The eyeshadows are very silky and are very pigmented this makes the palette well worth the money you pay. I use a real techniques essential crease brush to apply the shades, then I use a No 7 brush the blend the colours. Using their eyeshadow primer before hand really makes the eye look last even looker and doesn't dull the shades. I use this palette on an everyday basis and love it to pieces.

Overall I think the palette is great and is a favourite makeup item of mine.

See you soon

Lush Bath Bomb Review : Northern Ligts

When going into the lush store on boxing day I was determined to find this bath bomb, because I had used it once before and it had become a favourite. Luckily while fighting through the masses of people who had all queued to buy their discounted lush luxuries I managed to pick one up. On boxing day lush had 50% off all seasonal products so along with many other people I queued up outside the store in order to buy lots of lush goodies. If you would like to see everything else I purchased you can check out my youtube video http://youtu.be/kg_ifNKvpIE
I found the bath bomb very dusty/flaky when I came to using it there was lots of purple dust at the bottom of the bag. When holding the bath bomb it started to break away and tended to be very crumbly. I have used the sparkler bath bomb aswell but it was much more firm and held together. When I came round to using the bath bomb I really wasn't expecting what I got due to the poor quality already shown.

However when popped into a hot bath the show it put on really changed my mind about the bath bomb as a whole. The main colour streaming out was purple, but it also had blue and yellow streaming out at the same time. With all these colours my bath ended up being a medium purple colour that was stunning to be staring at. The bath bomb left my skin silky and moisturized, rather than other brands I have tried that leave my skin dried out. Overall from a bad start I was very impressed with the bath bomb and I can't wait for all the seasonal products to come out again so I can try out other amazing products.

Thanks For Reading
